Gas selection from underground storage (PCG) in Europe reached a maximum since the beginning of the heating season, this is evidenced by the GAS infrastructure europe (GIE) data, transfers TASS.
This happened, including the exemptions of Gazprom, so, after a long period of injection, the Russian company took almost eight million cubic meters from one of the largest storage facilities in Austria, from Jemgum in Germany – about 3.4 cubic meters, as well as More than a million cubic meters from Rehden. In Katharina, no selection is made or downloading. Bergermeer in the Netherlands is filled with fuel, but the volumes decreased more than twice.
It is noted that reserves in European PCH replenished only by 39 million cubic meters on November 2, while the selection amounted to more than 321 million. The last time such indicators were observed in April 2021.
Storage fullness decreased to 76.43 percent and is currently about 81.75 billion cubic meters of gas.
Earlier, the head of Gazprom exports, Elena Burmistrova, stated that Gazprom was not interested in record high prices for gas in Europe. The disadvantage of the situation is that high cost leads to demand degradation.
