The defender of the rights of Russian Ermek Taychibekov sentenced in Kazakhstan to prison turned to the authorities of Russia for obtaining citizenship. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry of Maria Zakharov was told about this during a briefing, “Renta.ru” correspondent reports.

Later, a member of the Council on Ethnic Relations under the President of Russia, Bogdan Dispalco stated that the case of Taichibekova testifies to the “extrusion” policy of the Russian-speaking population from Kazakhstan, which is supported by the authorities of the republic at the highest level.
