President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called on other countries not to behave egoistic during the coronavirus pandemic. He stated this on October 14 at a meeting with the Director of the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hans Klev, BelTA reports.

“I absolutely support WHO and above all its leadership is that it is impossible to be an egoist and an individualist today,” said Lukashenko. “I mean the countries that are trying to close, declare Locking, which, having medicines, not always in time. And in the desired volume they supply them to the market. “

Head of Belarus added that some states produce personal protective equipment, but do not share with others. “Vaccines should be the property of all mankind of the planet. This is an international disease,” called Lukashenko.

According to him, if any country hopes to isolate and “try happiness,” she does not work. “It is necessary to overcome this disease together together,” Lukashenko concluded.

According to the results of October 11, a record number of contaminated coronavirus was revealed in Belarus during the day – 2038 people. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, more than 561 thousand infected were revealed. More than four thousand patients died. The country did not introduce severe quarantine restrictions. Lukashenko explained it with economic reasons.
