Onboard the International Space Station continues its work 65th long expedition. The most of the materials of the future film will be filmed within the framework of the scientific and educational project “Call”.
The crew of the transport piloted ship “Yu.A. Gagarin” (Union of MS-18) also continues to be actively prepared for the forthcoming landing on October 17, 2021. Hero of Russia, Cosmonaut Roscosmos Oleg Novitsky, as well as participants in the space flight Klim Shipenko and Julia Peresilde, conducted an inspection of Falcon Sokol-2, checked the onboard documentation, and continue to engage in cargo returned to land.
According to the preliminary data of the Ballistic-navigation and navigation support service center of TsNiyimash flights (part of the Roskosmos State Corporation), the closure of transitional hatches between the Soyuz MS-18 ship and the Module “Science” of the Russian segment of the International Space Station is scheduled on October 17 in Period from 00:45 to 01:05 Moscow time. Drops of the ship and the ISS are expected to be at 04:14 Moscow time, and at 07:36 MSK – landing of the descent apparatus at 146 km southeast from the city of Zhezkazgan (Kazakhstan).
Two days later at the TASS sites and the Center for the Training of Cosmonauts named after Yu.A. Gagarin in the online format will be a press conference dedicated to the return crew of the transport piloted ship “Union MS-18”, mastering the multi-purpose laboratory module “Science” and three outputs into open space.
