Baikonur’s cosmodrome continues the pre-flight preparation of the MS-18 Progress Cargo Ship, the Progress M-mind module and the Soyuz MS-20 manned ship.
Currently on the ship “Progress MS-18”, concluding operations are carried out before refueling and the preparation of its harbor protective block is undergoing. At the same time, test inclusions of the “Progress M-mind” and “Union MS-20” ships are continued.
All technological operations are performed by specialists of the South Space Center (branch of the center of exploitation of land-based space infrastructure facilities), Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. Queen and Rocket and Space Center “Progress” (included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”) in the installation and test case of the site No. 254.
Launches of all three transport ships are scheduled for 2021. The nearest of them will be the launch of the “Space Truck” Progress MS-18 “, scheduled for October 28, 2021 from the starting complex of the site No. 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.
