Euro exchange rate rose to 83.41 rubles (plus 0.53 rubles) at the closure of the main trading session of the Moscow Exchange on Wednesday, October 13. The dollar rate at 18:40 MSK was 72.1 rubles (plus 0.23 rubles).
The Russian stock market closed with a drop in the main exchange indices on Wednesday. Mosbier index fell to 4243.92 points (minus 0.47 percent), the RTS index – up to 1855.11 points (minus 0.79 percent).
Growth leaders from among the “Blue Chips” steel “Pole”, (plus 3.6 percent, up to 13,168.5 rubles per share), TCS Group (plus 3.49 percent, up to 7587.2 rubles) and ” Polymetal “(plus 3.24 percent, up to 1301.7 rubles). TCS Group shares also updated the historical maximum. The NLMK paper has fallen in price (minus 1.84 percent, up to 215 rubles per share), Tatneft (minus 1.65 percent, to 564.9 rubles per share) and Gazprom (minus 1.44 percent, up to 358.85 rubles).
Decchanus Brent oil futures cost 83.28 dollars per barrel (minus 0.17 percent), WTI – 80.61 dollars (minus 0.04 percent). Gas traded $ 1145 per thousand cubic meters.
