Chinese cosmonauts from Shenzhou-13 ship moved to main station module

Three Taikonauts from the Chinese Pilotous Spacepan Space Ship “Shenzhou-13” switched to the main module of the National Orbital Station. This was reported by TASS with reference to the management of the program of piloted space flights of China.

It is reported that 09:58 in Beijing time (04:58 Moscow time) Chinese astronauts entered the main module “Tianhe” about three hours after docking. Thus, all the way from the moment the ship is launched from a cosmodrome in Jutuyan before entering the module ranked nine and a half hours.

Now the cosmonauts will begin to work on the maintenance of the station under construction, on which the next six months will stay. During this time, they will perform up to three exits in open space, and will also hold a number of scientific experiments.

The deployment of the Chinese modular orbital station Tiangong began in 2021 from the start of the TIANHE base module. Structurally, which up to 2023 should get Wentian and Mengtian modules, reminds the reduced Soviet-Russian “world”. Tiangong will be able to visit up to three taikonauts. The expected service life of the space station, which will be the third multi-module orbital, – ten years with the possibility of extension for another five.
