This sanction follows the disciplinary procedure undertaken since February by the Ordinary Instance against the former European member (Socialist Party).

His father-in-law was also interviewed, in April, as “free suspect”. According to AFP, Mr. Duhamel would have recognized “hardly” the facts during his hearing.
