Vladimir Chizhov’s permanent representative of Russia (EU), Vladimir Chizhov, put the German authorities in the issue of certification of the North Stream-2 export gas pipeline. His words lead RIA Novosti.
“He [Gas pipeline] is built, yes. The first pipe is already filled with gas. It remains to complete the certification. I emerge from the fact that this ball is at the gate of the German regulator. The [Certification] procedure refers four months. Dedine, as they say, January 8, “said Chizhov.
According to postpred, earlier certification is also possible and will be beneficial to European consumers of Russian gas: “Will they wake, will they want to do it earlier – please.”
before Bloomberg, with reference to the sources, wrote that Russia is going to put the certification of “Northern Flow-2” as the main condition for increasing gas supplies to Europe against the background of the energy crisis unfolding in the region.
Controller of Germany, in the territory of which the Route “Northern Flow-2” ends, currently conducts certification of the NORD STREAM 2 AG gas pipeline operator for compliance with the EU gas directive requirements. Under its conditions, the operator must be independent of the supplier of fuel.
