Permanent Representative of Russia at the European Union (EU) Vladimir Chizhov rejected the likelihood that Moscow is involved in the energy crisis in Europe. His words lead RIA Novosti.
“The fact that now in the European Union, I would say in general in Europe, the energy crisis is an objective fact. Another thing is that Russia has no direct relationship to this,” Chizhov said.
Previously, the Supreme Representative of the European Union on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel pointed out that the rise in gas prices in Europe is associated with the inaction of Russia and its reluctance to introduce additional deliveries.
In addition, Borrel made that Europe will have to ask more Russian gas than it was agreed.
