“Intergovernmental agreement, which will refine the legal status of this center, is currently discussed at negotiations with Russia,” the Foreign Ministry said. It is noted that the issue with the provision of French visas to the Center staff will be considered in accordance with the legislation of the republic, and not on the basis of the outcome of the negotiations.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova reported that due to the delaying process of issuing visas by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, the Orthodox Center cannot complete the recruitment of his state.
