An ordinance of non-place was rendered by the investigating judge in the investigation of the deed of Car de Puisseguin (Gironde), who had made 43 deaths on October 23, 2015, learned the Agence France -Presse (AFP) Friday, October 22 with the Libourne floor.

This accident of retirees in excursion, for which no indictment has never been pronounced in six years of procedure, is the most murderer in France since 1982 (the accident of Beaune, in Côte-D ‘Or, had 53 dead, for most children).
Passengers trapped in the bus
The day of the accident, on the D17, the tight turn was known, limited to 90 km / h, but no accidental passive. Yet at 7:30 am, a semi-trailer arriving at 75 km / h had deported to the left at the end of the village of Pukeguin and had set itself in the wallet before hitting this retirees, arriving in the opposite direction.
“If there had been only the shock, there would be no victim,” said a survivor, Raymond Silvestrini at the time. But the bus broke “in less than three minutes”, according to another survivor. The passengers were trapped in the bus and died burned alive or asphyxiated.
In 2017, the Land Transport Accident Investigation Bureau ( Bea-TT ) had recommended strengthening coach building standards, including fire materials. In his report, he attributed the direct cause of the accident to a loss of heavy weight control entered into collision with the coach. It emphasized that the truck was equipped with an additional tank of unapproved diesel and the backup and smoking exit devices were difficult to operate.
“In his order, the investigating judge retains that mistakes have been committed, including abnormalities with the semi-trailer, but that, despite this, there is no causal connection with the accident because the origin is above all the excess speed of the driver “, dead in the accident, detailed M e chambolle.
