US planned to work on Afghanistan together with Russia

The official representative of the White House Jen Psaki stated that the United States plans to work on Afghanistan in the format of an expanded triple together with Russia, China and Pakistan. She told about it during a regular briefing, reports TASS.

Press secretary thus answered the question why the United States did not take part in the conference held in Moscow. She emphasized that this happened for the reasons for logistics, and Washington fully supports these negotiations.

“We believe that the expanded triple – namely, this format is an effective and constructive forum. We hope to participate in this forum in the future. We could not take part in it this week, but we will do it in Future, “- concluded Psaki.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would be together with China to help Afghanistan, since his stability in the interests of citizens of the Russian Federation and the PRC. According to the Russian leader, both countries need a “calm, developing” Afghanistan, which is not a source of terrorism and radicalism.
