Putin called on United States and Europe not to take off responsibility for Afghanistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin during the speech at the plenary session as part of the XVIII Annual Meeting of the Valdai Club called on USA and European countries not to make responsibility for the situation in Afghanistan, the correspondent “Renta.ru” reports.

The Russian leader stated that he considers the decision of the American colleague Joe Bayiden to bring troops from Afghanistan, but noted that it was the United States “brewing this porridge” and now should not withdraw responsibility for the events in the country and for the future of the Afghan people .

Vladimir Putin stressed that henceforth the world community should proceed from not allowing the mistake of the past without interfering in the country’s internal affairs. “It is impossible to impose the people of Afghanistan what tried to impose the Soviet Union. It is impossible to impose the Afghan people what they tried to impose the United States,” the president noted.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin stated that Russia would be together with China to help Afghanistan, since his stability in the interests of citizens of the Russian Federation and the PRC. According to the Russian leader, both countries need a “calm, developing” Afghanistan, which is not a source of terrorism and radicalism.
