At the same time, they criticized the co-chairman of the German party “Soyuz-90” / “green” Annalane Berbok, urged not to issue permission to launch the gas pipeline until all the prescriptions of the European Union were fulfilled, stating that Russia was partly responsible for Complex situation on the gas market in Europe.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the interest of Europe in the North Stream-2 gas pipeline during the speech at the plenary session within the XVIII annual meeting of the Valdai Club. He recalled that the project participates the five largest European companies.
