Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the gas deficit in Europe. According to him, it can range up to 70 billion cubic meters and this is a man-made result of the European Commission’s Energy Policy. This is reported by the correspondent “Renta.ru” from the meeting of the Discussion Club “Valdai”.
Earlier, Puttik indicated that Russia is not interested in the increase in gas prices. He noted that the decline in gas consumption in the EU countries (EU) may affect Russian companies, including Gazprom. “We are not in airless space, and what is happening in the global energy market, one way or another is reflected on us,” the president said.
Gas prices in Europe rapidly increased over the past months against the background of reducing supplies from Russia and Norway and higher demand for energy. On October 6, the cost of Gaza came to the mark in two thousand dollars per thousand cubic meters, but then decreased after Putin’s words about possible expansion of deliveries.
