Poland’s authorities will send another 2.5 thousand military on the border line with Belorussia. The decision on the transfer of additional border guard forces and the increase in their number was taken after an attack of illegal migrants on Polish border guards, said in Twitter Polish Defense Minister Mariusch Blazkak.
According to him, the reliability of the border will provide a total of about 10 thousand soldiers, in addition to employees of the border guard. The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that volunteers from among the troops of territorial defense were helped by residents of border areas.
On October 25, the Poland’s border guard reported that several dozen migrants from the countries of the Middle East tried to illegally break away from Belarus to Poland and took the state border of the two countries by storming.
Frames can be seen how illegals throw siloviki by stones and branches, and also try to break the spiny fences with prickly objects. “Two soldiers were hospitalized,” the report says. The number of wounded migrants does not specify.
The migration crisis at the borders of Belarus and the European Union began at the end of May. Organized Migrant Groups from Africa and the Middle East began to storm the borders of Lithuania, Poland and Latvia in the hope of obtaining refuge in the EU. Brussels believes that the Belarusian authorities use the national tour operator “Centerkurort” to cross illegal immigrants to their Western borders and earn it.
