Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a list of orders relating to the creation of a national system for managing food quality through the introduction of an integrated tracking mechanism. The document is published on the Kremlin website.
Among other things, the head of state ordered to ensure the availability of data on the origin of food components in digital format. Including they should be in state information systems in the field of veterinary and monitoring for the turnover of goods that are subject to labeling.
The head of government Mikhail Mishoustin was appointed responsible for execution of orders.
