“Of course, we have taken all possible measures to ensure the safety of the embassy and Russian interests in Sudan. According to him, so far none of the Russians applied for help in the embassy. Previously, the military from the sovereign Council of Sudan under the leadership of General Abdel Fatthaha al-Burkhana arrested members of the Provisional Government and declared a state of emergency in the country. In response, protests of civil ministerial supporters began in Khartoum.
