Belarus: military began to supply oxygen in hospitals

The Armed Forces of Belarus began to supply medical oxygen in healthcare facilities. This is reported by TV channel.

Military supply oxygen from air force air bases (Air Force) and air defense forces (air defense), where there are appropriate equipment. It is noted that, if necessary, additional sources will ensure uninterrupted work of Belarusian hospitals.

According to the head of the technical calculation of the gas supply of the Aviation Base of the Air Force and Air Force of Belarus Vladimir Lozovsky, a lot of equipment is involved in the process of mining of medical oxygen. “The process is actually quite time-consuming, heavy due to the fact that in the atmospheric air the oxygen content is very small, and its boiling temperature should be minus 183 degrees Celsius,” he added.

Earlier, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, demanded a hard stop attempts to accomplish the health of citizens in COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, he drew attention to the overestimate entrepreneurs of the cost of services for the transportation of oxygen and offered to “risk pockets” of such businessmen.
