Former deputy of the Parliament of Afghanistan Muhammad Mohakik said that in the western part of the capital of the country, eight children died of hunger. His words lead RIA Novosti.
“Poverty and famine wanted eight children in West Kabul,” the politician said, noting that the Khazara community lives in this area.
Mohakik added that the Taliban movement (forbidden in Russia, the terrorist organization) did not provide a proper standard of living for the people, and called on the international community to assist the Hazares and Shiites of Afghanistan.
In September, the head of the UN Mission to promote Afghanistan Deborah Lyons warned that without financial assistance to the international community of Afghanistan, mass hunger will begin. She pointed out that foreign countries blocked Afghanistan access to billions of dollars of financial assets and donor means so that they do not get “Taliban”.
