After an attack of an armed group of people to prison in the Nigerian state of Oo, about 800 prisoners were escaped. Employees of the correctional institution were able to quickly detain more than 250 people, and some surrendered voluntarily, but 575 managed to hide and are currently wanted, reports The Sun Nigeria.
Attacks used firearms, garnets and dynamite, with which the attackers blew off part of the prison wall. The personalities of the attackers of the militants are not yet installed.
Inside prison premises, as the representative of the institution indicated, were destroyed.
The detention center in OIO was built in 2007. It is designed for 160 prisoners, but at the time of the attack there were 907 people. Of these, 92 percent expected vessels, only 64 people were serving only.
In July of this year, prisoners were able to escape in an Indian prison with salt and pepper. Seven man attacked the guards and threw them in spices in the face, after which they disappeared.
