Express-AMU3 spacecraft completed

Baikonur successfully completed operations to refuel the spacecraft “Express-AMU3” components of fuel and compressed gases. On Saturday, October 30, 2021, it was transported to a reference-neutralization station of the site of the cosmodrome.

Currently, specialists of the South Space Center (branch of the center of exploitation of land-based space infrastructure facilities are included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”) held concluding operations to refuel Express-AMU3. In accordance with the schedule, the device will be delivered to the installation and test case No. 92a for measuring the resistance of on-board tires and check the integrity of heaters, as well as the technical inspection of the mechanical device of solar cells.

Satellites of the Express series are manufactured by order of the Russian satellite telecommunications operator FSUE “Space Communications” in the interests of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. These spacecraft are intended to ensure a wide range of communication services and broadcasting in Russia, ensuring fixed and mobile communications, provision of broadband services, broadband high-speed access to information resources and other applications.
