President of France Emmanuel Macron revealed the Action Plan of the European countries in case of exacerbation of the energy crisis. This is reported by the newspaper Financial Times.
According to the French leader, only the coordinated actions of countries will help restore the economy and avoid further increase in gas prices.
“In the coming weeks and months, we need to achieve greater transparency and price stability so that the tension in relation to energy prices does not generate uncertainty and did not undermine the restoration of the global economy,” said Macron.
Earlier, the head of the Government of Poland Mateush Morrazetsky called Russia’s actions on the gas market of Europe with blackmail, which it uses to achieve beneficial decisions for itself. According to Warsaw, Moscow deliberately limits gas supplies to Europe to achieve permission to operate the Nord-2 gas pipeline.
Gas prices in Europe began to grow sharply since the beginning of September. On October 6, they set the absolute maximum, rising almost to two thousand dollars per thousand cubic meters. On the same day, according to the results of the Energy Meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow is ready to increase deliveries to stabilize the European market. After the words of the head of state, the price decreased.
