In the installation and test case of the site of the Baikonur cosmodrome, the unloading of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier missile unloaded, which will bring the transport piloted ship “Union MS-20” to the near-empty orbit. Currently, an external inspection of blocks is carried out.
The next stage of work is the docking of compartments 1a and 2a of the central unit, checking the tightness of motor installations of blocks “in” and “g”. All technological operations are performed by specialists of the South Space Center (branch of the center of exploitation of the objects of ground space infrastructure) and the Progress Rocket and Space Center (including Roscosmos State Corporation).
Start of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier missile with a piloted ship “Union MS-20” is scheduled for the beginning of December from the starting complex “East” of the Baikonur cosmodrome. The flight to the International Space Station duration of 12 days will be held under a contract with Space Adventures. The commander of the main crew is the cosmonaut of Roscosmos Alexander Misurkin, and Yusaka Maesava, President of the Start Tudai Corporation, and his personal assistant Jozo Hirano were appointed as participants in the cosmic flight to the main crew.
