Russia utilizes aviation rockets

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a competition for disposal of aviation ammunition. The agency plans to dispose of 187 managed military fleet missiles. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the portal data of the state procurement.

The initial price of the contract is 3.1 million rubles. The agreement implies the disposal of 145 controlled missiles of the Low-range R-60 and 42 of the air-surface rockets X-25 to 10 November 2023. The agency plans to summarize the contest on December 3.

Air-air R-60 rocket was adopted in 1973. The ammunition used as part of the weapons of most Soviet fighters, SU-24 bombers, SU-25T attack aircraft and the Yak-38 deck aircraft.

The controlled rocket X-25 is designed to defeat small-sized land and surface targets. The ammunition was admitted in 1976. The rocket received a fragantive fuhaasny combat part.

In September, RIA Novosti with reference to sources reported on the first delivery of aircraft missiles X-59MKM to a foreign customer. Ammunition is designed to destroy fortified structures.

In August, the Executive Director of the Technogram Scientific and Production Concern, Alexander Kochkin, told TASS about the expansion of the Arsenal helicopter Mi-28N “Night Hunter”. According to him, Mi-28N will be able to use unmanaged Rockets C-13B.
