Former Poland accused of false testimony in country

Former President of Poland and the Nobel Prize Winner, Lehe Valense presented charges in the country of false testimony in the case of its cooperation with special services during the Polish People’s Republic (Poland). It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Polish Institute of National Memory.

Suspicions towards Valenses arose after the death of the ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, General Chesma Kszykka. As a result of the search in the apartment of the former minister, law enforcement officers found a folder with documents, allegedly signed by Valence. According to opened data, Valens, being the leader of the Opposition Party “Solidarity”, collaborated with the security service (Sat) of Poland under the pseudonym of the chick.

“Lehe Valense charged in the country of false testimony. It concerns the applications of the ex-president about the falsification of its signatures under the Security Service documents,” the Institute says. In 2016, Valens reported that he did not cooperate with the Security Council of PNR and did not sign the documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the investigation, the signature of healing coincided with the signature of Valenses in 140 out of 158 reports from the archive of the ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Poland, as well as in 17 receipts on obtaining money for the date of testimony. According to Polish legislation, for the giving false testimony, a citizen can threaten from three to eight years of imprisonment.

Valensa established the Solidarity trade union in the 1980s. In 1983, he received the Nobel Prize of the world, and headed Poland in 1990-1995.
