Russia wanted concrete concrete on use of nuclear weapons

Russia would like to see from the USA any steps that will help achieve certainty in the application of nuclear weapons. Such a statement was made by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov during a speech at the Dialog Fort Ross Forum. It quotes RIA Novosti.

Diplomat noted that Moscow and Washington are now working to improve the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons, and the actions from the United States could remove uncertainty in this area. “It would be mutual,” said Ryabkov.

The Russian diplomat stressed that Moscow is ready to discuss the possibility of holding negotiations on this topic with representatives of the American leadership at the intergovernmental level in the framework of the strategic Russian-American dialogue.

Earlier Ryabkov called on to stop “diplomatic wars” of Russia and the United States. He noted that the current crisis in Russian-American relations can be more dangerous of the Cold War.
