Peredisted by military Premier Sudan again heads government

The Prime Minister of Sudan Abdalla Humduk agreed to lead the government of the country again, if all political prisoners were released. Reports Al Arabiya.

Politician will head the new Cabinet of Ministers, subject to the liberation of all those arrested for political reasons during the recent actions of the Military of the Sovereign Council of Sudan. Humduk also insists on the restoration of all constitutional institutions “in the form in which they acted before the events of October 25”.

At the same time, the Sky News Arabia TV channel indicated that the prime minister and the army command did not reach the agreement. The source told the media that the extended conditions thought as a reason for the beginning of the dialogue.

On October 25, the military from Sudan’s Sovereign Council under the leadership of General Abdel Fatthaj al-Burkhan arrested members of the Provisional Government and declared a state of emergency in the country. In response in Khartouume, protests of supporters of civilian ministers began. The military responded to discontent, opening fire on the demonstration participants. It was reported that 12 people were injured.
