According to TASS, in the near future, the Profile Senate Committee will announce hearings to consider the candidacy of a 55-year-old woman. After them, a vote will be held, based on the results of which the Committee may recommend the Senate of the full composition to approve the Omarov to the post. Then there will be a final vote in the Senate.

It is noted that in the case of appointment, the MSU graduate will be the first woman who has headed the management, for 158 years of its existence. At the same time, as FINANCIAL Times writes, the Republicans and representatives of the banking sector criticized the candidacy. “I’m a light goal: immigrant, a woman, a minority representative. I am easy to demonize and displacing me,” the politician itself emphasized.
