25 years ago, on November 3, 1996, Proton-PM (enters the integrated NGO structure Energomash State Corporation “Roskosmos”) experienced the first gas turbine unit. For performance, the engine of ground use of PS-90GP-1 with a capacity of 12 MW of the development of the CED-Aviavoy Motor and the production of ADC-Perm motors was checked.
At first, the installations of only this power were tested. Subsequently, the stand was upgraded – it made it possible to expand the nomenclature of GTU. So, from the 2000s. The tests of gas turbine settings with a capacity of 10, 16 and 25 MW began (with a maximum load of 19 MW). In 2013, Proton-PM commissioned a multipurpose adaptive stand, expanding the range of capacity of the test products up to 40 MW and increasing the bandwidth of the test complex.
The last three years, the company is increasing the volumes of tests of GTU. In the 2020th, a record number of gas turbine engines of ground-based use – 147, including 34 GTU with a capacity of 25 MW, 73 – GTU-16, 19 – GTU-12 and 21 – GTU-10. In 2019, the performance of 135 installations was confirmed, and a year earlier – 112.
It is expected that in 2021 the company will survive the results of last year: 128 gas turbine engines were tested for 10 months in the interests of Perm enterprises of the United Engine-Engineering Corporation. Installations are designed for objects of gas transmission, gas producing and energy companies in Russia.
