Bavaria Prime Minister Marcus Zedeger called on to put into operation the North Stream-2 gas pipeline as soon as possible. He stated this in an interview with the German publication Bild.
According to him, the German authorities need a “price brake” and a gas strategy that will help the FRG to provide fuel supplies. Zeder noted that one of these measures should be an early commissioning of the gas pipeline. This decision should help stop the rise in gas prices, stressed the Premier Bavaria.
Earlier the Ministry of Economy of the Federal Republic of Germany sent a conclusion to the Federal Network Agency for the certification of “Northern Flow-2”. The department considered that the pipeline would not be dangerous for gas supply in Germany and the EU.
