The European Union expressed the hope that Russia will investigate cases of trade in COVID certificates, including the European sample. This was stated in the EU representative office in Russia, RBC reports.
“If there are suspicions of fraud, the EU expects the countries in which it takes place, including Russia, will take measures to investigate these suspicion and responding to them,” said there. The representation reminded that the falsification of documents is prohibited and entails the punishment provided for by the legislation of the country.
In June, Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on constitutional legislation Andrei Klishas recalled that the acquisition of a fake certificate about the prosed vaccination against coronavirus threatens imprisonment for a period of up to one year.
