External partners of Moldova will support it in overcoming the energy crisis associated with gas supplies. This was announced by the President of the Republic of Maya Sanda after the meeting of the Supreme Council of Security.

According to her, the leadership of the country is actively negotiating with the Russian company Gazprom, but the process itself has been delayed due to the desire of Moldova to get a more acceptable price of gas. The politician added that the country had already asked for help with imports of gas to Germany, Poland and Romania.

At the same time, the diplomat stressed that the European Union does not intend to interfere in the negotiations between the Republic and the Russian company.
