Sudan recalled its ambassadors due to criticism of military coup

Representatives of the Military Branch of the Government of Sudan said they recalled six ambassadors in different countries for criticized the military coup on October 25. This is reported by ABC News with reference to an anonymous source, allegedly familiar with the statement of the head of the sovereign council, General Abdel Fatthaha al-Burkhan.

Among the reconciled ambassadors – representatives of Sudan in the United States and European countries, as well as in Qatar, China and the UN Mission in Geneva.

On October 25, armed people surrounded the House of Prime Minister of Sudan Abdalla Humduka. In addition to him, four ministers were detained – communications, information, finance and industry, as well as Governor Hartuma Ayman Nimir and the representative of the Sovereign Council of Mohammed Al-Pky. The exact location of the premiere is unknown, al-Burkhan himself argues that everything is fine with the detainee.

The listed policies are members of the Provisional Government. After the overthrow of the President of Omar Al-Bashir in 2019, two branches of power were formed in the country: the military, submitted by the head of the sovereign Council Abdel Fatt, Al-Burkhan, and the Civic, represented by Prime Minister Abdullah Humduuk. Both branches agreed that until November 2021, the transition period will be operated in the country.
