Lukashenko urged Russia to show “nasty and dirty” role of Soviet people

Russia could assist the recognition of the Genocide of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War (Great Patriotic War) in Belarus and not only. This was announced by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, writes BelTA.

The head of state spoke about “very serious work” on the recognition of the genocide of the Belarusian, Soviet people in the territory of the republic during the Great Patriotic War and called on Krasnov to assist in its implementation. At the same time, Lukashenko expressed his intention to conduct a similar investigation into Russia.

According to the president, such a work of the two countries is necessary to show “all this vicious and dirty” role that the Soviet people played during the Second World and Great Patriotic Wars, “protecting their sovereignty, security and human rights.”

Earlier, Lukashenko urged to tell the whole world “the terrible truth about the horrors of war” and “to disrupt masks from the occupiers and collaborators”, which the genocide of the Belarusian people arranged during the Securities and during the Securities.

In May, the Prosecutor General of Belarus, Andrei Swede, said that the country’s authorities are planning to gain recognition at the international level of the genocide of Belarusians during the Second World War. According to him, the official number of victims of the Nazis in the republic can be significantly understated.
