For the first time, Russian cosmonaut will be able to fly at the American spacecraft Spacex Crew Dragon to the International Space Station (ISS) in the second half of 2022, writes Spacenews.
American publication allows that this will happen in the framework of the Crew-5 mission. It is noted that, according to the cross-program of flights, the American cosmonaut will fly on the Russian Soyuz Soyuz MS spacecraft to the ISS in the fall of 2022.
“This would ensure the presence of both countries at the station and the ability to serve their individual systems,” writes the publication.
So in Spacenews commented on the state director of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin, according to which the American company “Spacex has developed sufficient experience, so that you can send on their ships and representatives of our crews.”
In April, Steve YURCHIK, taking an acting head of NASA, in a conversation with Spaceflight now did not rule out that the first flight of the Russian cosmonaut on American spacecraft Crew Dragon and Starline will not take place not earlier than 2022.
