In particular, the meeting was marked by incidents on the edge of the stadium while the Phocian Club is under the threat, in a context of increased violence, with a removal from a point to the classification in case of recurrence.

Several fans arrested Sunday night due to incidents on the edge of the velodrome stage at the meeting opposing the Olympique de Marseille (OM) in Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) were sentenced to sentences up to Two years in prison, announced the prosecution, Wednesday, October 27th.
During the first period of the match, “hundreds of people tried to return” in the enclosure of the velodrome stage despite the closed doors, requiring the intervention of the police and the use of gas Lacrymogens, had explained the police prefecture on Sunday night. A commissioner had been injured “in full face”. Twenty-one people had been arrested: pursued for degradation, rocket detention and violence or outrages or rebellions against police officers, seventeen had been placed in custody.
During the second period, a spectator had entered the ground and had approached the Parisian attacker Lionel Messi before being evacuated by several stadiers. Five defendants who recognized their participation in incidents were judged since Monday. Three were sentenced to sentences ranging from four months in prison to two-year-old, and the other two to fines. All have been banned from stadium for one year, clarified the Marseille prosecutor’s office.
The OM under the threat of a point withdrawal
Among the other defendants, a 42-year-old man from Essonne and member of the Winners, a club of fansagers Marseilles, was sentenced for rebellion to six months of home detention under electronic supervision and one year of Stadium prohibition. “My client had his ticket, but he found himself at the wrong time in the wrong place,” pleaded his lawyer, Arnaud Ibanez. Finally, another man was sentenced to 600 euros of fine, including 300 suspended via a criminal order.
Four other defendants benefited from an alternative procedure for the prosecution with three reminders of the law and an obligation to follow a citizenship internship. Another must be judged on Wednesday in immediate appearance, three others will be convened later and two benefited from a ranking without a suite.
Before the meeting, the President of OM, Pablo Longoria, had launched a calm call so that the match remains “a moment of football”. The OM has already been sanctioned twice this season by the Discipline Commission of the Professional Football League (FPA) for incidents in the stands, after the Nice-OM match (August 22) and the one in Angers (22 September). In a context of increased violence, OM is under the threat of a removal from a point in the classification in case of recurrence.
