Candidate of German Chancellors explained need of a country in Gaza

The leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and the candidate for the post of Chancellor Olaf Schalz stated that the country would need gas for a long time, since this is one of the conditions for the transition to renewable energy. Quote leads RIA Novosti.

Politician stressed that such statements have no political grounds, thereby reacting for accusations against Berlin from the Russian gas pipeline “Northern Stream-2”. “We use gas and create new gas power plants, because this condition so that we overcome the transitional period [on the way to renewable energy],” Scholz told.

On October 26, the Ministry of Economics of Germany sent to the Federal Network Agency (regulatory authority) to certify the North Stream-2 gas pipeline. The department did not see threats in the Russian pipeline and recognized that it would not be dangerous for the gas supply of Germany and the European Union.

In the process of forming a prison on a gas pipeline, the agency consulted with other EU member states. The FRG regulator will continue to analyze the correspondence of the “Northern Flow-2” legal regulations of the International Association. Presumably, the certification of the Russian gas pipeline will take about three months. After the regulator decides, it will be directed to the European Commission, which will have two more months on the answer.
