In Belarus, the pace of distribution of COVID-19 began to decline. This was announced by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko during a visit to the Lida Central District Hospital in the Grodno Region, writes BelTA.
The head of state appreciated the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Belarus and noted that the emerging situation “causes careful optimism”. “We didn’t just stop at this plateau, on this grief, and two to four percent of the week crawled,” he added.
Lukashenko also declared a decrease in the mid-week increase in new infection cases by one and a half times over the past week and drew attention to an increase in the number of patients discharged from the hospital by 6.4 percent.
