China placed on quarantine 4 millionth city due to Covid-19

The city of Lanzhou with a population of 3.7 million people is closed by the authorities of China to a strict quarantine due to the new outbreak of COVID-19. Information reports RIA Novosti.

Lanzhou – the capital of Gansu Province, located in the north-west of the PRC and having a border with Mongolia. From October 26, residents of the settlement placed on quarantine are prohibited from home without an extreme need, in housing complexes there is a bandwidth, and power supply can be carried out only by contactlessly. Entry and leaving Lanzhou are also limited.

Special control is introduced by the city authorities due to new cases of coronavirus infection in China. Six out of 29 discovered incidents found in Lanzhou.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow’s authorities consider several scenarios to extend restrictions. The toughest of them involves the preservation of the Coronavirus constraints until January 1, 2022.
