Russia and United Arab Emirates expand cooperation in space

In the fields of the 72nd International Astronautical Congress in Dubai, an agreement was signed between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in the field of research and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. On the part of Russia, Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of the State Corporation “Roskosmos”, was signed by the United Arab Emirates from the United Arab Emirates, the United Arab Emirates Chairman of the United Arab Agency Sarah al-Amiri.

This agreement will allow countries to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the following high-tech areas of space activities: satellite navigation, remote sensing of land, monitoring of space space, satellite telecommunications and communication, creation of space technology, research in outer space and manned flights to space.

The agreement includes provisions on the protection of intellectual property created or transmitted under joint activities, the legal and physical protection of the property of one party, which is within the framework of the agreement on the territory of the country of the other Party, determines the procedure for customs regulation, as well as export control over the goods and Technologies.
