Moldova has the full right to buy gas not from Russia, but in any case he will cost it more expensive. About such consequences of Chisinau refusal to sign a new gas contract with Russia warned the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Sadkov, reports TASS.
The representative of the Kremlin explained that hypothetical transactions can only be higher than those discussed with the Russian side.
Earlier it became known that the State Company of Moldova Energocom concluded a contract for the purchase of gas from Polish PGNIG. This was the first for the former Soviet republic to purchase fuel from an alternative supplier.
