Analysts of the Russian online store Lamoda revealed the difference between shopping men and women and analyzed changes in their purchases for 2021. The results of the study were received by the “tape.ru” on Wednesday, October 26th.
According to the detected data, men increasingly began to make purchases online. This year they made 22 percent more online orders than in 2020. At the same time, their average check increased by 31 percent compared with last year.
At the same time, women committed seven percent more online orders than a year earlier. In absolute figures, they are still leading: in 2021, the customer ordered a variety of goods 2.7 times more often than men.
If we talk about preferences, then men more often buy sports goods, shoes and clothing of luxury brands. The most popular things in the current year they have become T-shirts, sneakers, sneakers, jeans and sports pants. Women, in addition to T-shirts and jeans, often ordered dresses, sneakers and pants. In the leaders of online sales, men turned out to be black sneakers, and in women – basic white T-shirt.
In premium orders among men, T-shirts, polo, baseball caps, sneakers and underwear sets are most often found. In this category, they prefer brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Hugo, Calvin Klein, Boss and Aeronautica Militare.
Sales leaders in the luxury segment among women steel T-shirts, bags, dresses, sneakers and sunglasses. In this category, they often chose Polo Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld, Boss, Michael Michael, Korshögl, Pinko and Furla.
In addition, it turned out that men are more demanding to delivery: they often choose special options – express delivery, delivery within a certain hour and in a 15-minute interval.
Earlier in October, the Russians revealed the average cost of new clothes for autumn and winter. According to the study, the full update of the autumn wardrobe in 2021 will cost women at 20,915 rubles, and men are almost 22 thousand rubles.
