Release OpenLDAP 2.6.0, open implementation of LDAP protocol

Published Release of the package OpenLDAP 2.6 .0 offering multi-platform implementation of the LDAP protocol (LightWeight Directory Access Protocol) to organize the work of directory services and access to them. The project develops a modular server part that supports various storage backends and data access, as-balancer, client utilities and libraries. The code is written in Si language and extends under a BSD-like open license OpenLDAP Public License.

In a new release:

  • in the proxy balancing LLOADD implemented additional strategies for load balancing and options to improve the consistency of work when Perform extended operations.
  • in Slapd and LLoadd Added logging log with direct file entry, without using syslog .
  • is declared with outdated back-SQL backends (LDAP query LDAPs with SQL support) and Back-Perl (call arbitrary Perl modules for processing certain LDAP queries). Removed Back-NDB backend (storage based Mysql NDB engine).
