Ambassador of Belarus in France is recalled to Minsk for consultations. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Belarus.
In the foreign policy department, they explained that this step was associated with departure from the Belarusian ambassador Nicolas de Buyan de Lakost.
At the same time, they noted in the Foreign Ministry, the reason for the expulsion of the diplomat was the fact that during his stay in Minsk Ambassador did not transfer to the President of the country to Alexander Lukashenko’s credentials and thus completed the procedure for joining the position. As a result, Belarus notified Paris that the term of the agreement of Minsk for the appointment of Nicolas de Lakost Ambassador has already expired.
