The appropriate decision adopted the Council for the Crisis Management of Latvia. Lokdokun will last November 15. During this period, the country will operate in the country from 20:00 to 5:00 for all citizens, regardless of whether they were vaccinated from coronavirus. The work will continue only to those stores and institutions that provide goods and essential services. In addition, there will be any mass events under the ban. And all schools, with the exception of 1-3 classes, will switch to remote learning mode.
In early October, the State Operational Medical Commission of Latvia announced an emergency in the health of the republic due to coronavirus. The head of the Ministry of Health of Pavluts stated that in hospitals there is a critical lack of medical staff. He noted that the country’s authorities are considering to request international assistance for the treatment of patients.
