Lukashenko asked not to mock Belarusians due to Covid-19

Coronavirus with his mutations and new strains remains a real threat to all countries, despite the already created vaccines and other measures to combat pandemics. This opinion was expressed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting on the epidemiological situation, BelTA reports.

According to him, the authorities of the republic should do everything possible to reduce the rates of incidence of the virus. At the same time, the head of state criticized the idea of ​​forced vaccination and fines for the lack of masks, as well as announced militia raids.

“Why are you kidding people?”, – said Lukashenko and asked for not to strain the Belarusians. However, he recalled that it was necessary to vaccinate all the same, otherwise negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin on deliveries to Belarusian Vaccine Vaccine can be considered meaningless.

Earlier in Belarus, a number of quarantine restrictions were introduced against the background of increasing the number of COVID-19 diseases. In particular, from October 9, wearing masks and compliance with the social distance in public places has become mandatory.
