The Russian side is ready to help Great Britain in overcoming the gas crisis. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin. His words on Sunday, October 17, leads RIA Novosti.
He clarified that Moscow will come to the rescue and will do everything possible, “to facilitate the conditions that the real crisis has now created”. Kelin also noted that Norway and other suppliers provide Britain with gas, and the share of Russian Gazprom is about three percent.
Earlier, the UK STEEL group, which lobbies the interests of the British steel industry, warned that the country was on the verge of another crisis. The sharp increase in the wholesale gas prices can lead to plants stops, a decrease in production profitability, an increase in greenhouse gas emissions and failures in supply chains.
