According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the hasty conclusion of troops from the country strongly “launched a ball of Afghan contradictions.” “There are many weapons and military equipment in the country. It is important that they are not used in destructive purposes,” the diplomat emphasized.
Earlier, Sergey Lavrov called NATO the main responsible for the post-war recovery of Afghanistan. The diplomat noted that Russia is ready to cooperate with the United States and the European Union on the Afghan issue. However, he stressed that the North Atlantic Alliance countries should take the main responsibility for the help of the country.
